During the last season of the Bachelor I happened to be hanging out with a former contestant who knew the outcome and spilled the beans. So from the very beginning of the season I knew that Ben chose Courtney, the model. According to reports they’re still together which is quite a shock for anyone, but knowing who ended up with the final rose really ruined the experience for me. However, there are some people who love knowing the inside scoop. And there are plenty of websites ready to dish it out.

I have friends that love reading blogs like RealitySteve.com or WetPaint.com that seem to know the outcome of the Bachelor or Bachelorette season before it even begins. But for me, that takes the fun out of it. It’s like peeking at your presents before Christmas morning. I like experiencing it as it happens– at least how ABC makes it appear to happen. I imagine it’s especially tough for people like me who live on the west coast. No matter how hard they try to avoid finding out the ending of an episode before it airs, a simple visit to Facebook or Twitter could ruin that right away.

So I’d like to know– do you like reading Bachelorette spoilers, finding out the scoop before everyone else? Or do you prefer to watch it week after week and see the drama unfold gradually? Emily Maynard is down to her final four guys and– spoiler alert– I have no idea how this will end up! I was a little surprised to see Doug go (and the fact that he ended it all with the most awkward kiss ever!) but I didn’t know about it until the episode aired. And if you know, please don’t ruin it for me!

Mark your calendars– ABC’s Bachelorette staring Emily Maynard premiers in exactly two weeks! You can tune in to the premier on Monday, May 14 at 9:30/8:30 central. Emily will choose between 25 bachelors in her quest for love. You may remember Emily ended up with Brad Womack, a relationship that ended badly. Emily’s season of the Bachelorette is being shot in her hometown of Charlotte. According to reports that’s because of Emily’s six-year-old daughter Ricky.

Emily’s tragic story of lost love really hit home with viewers. Little Ricky’s race car driving dad was killed in a plane crash while Emily was pregnant. Check out the new promo video for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette:

Did you adore the movie Bridesmaids? Now is your chance to star in a real life version of the hit movie. We just heard from a casting director who is looking for the perfect bridal party to feature in a one-hour major network reality show. Of course the casting director came to The House of Bachelorette for help because he knows that hot, crazy bachelorettes shop here! “We are all fans of the movie and we are trying to do a reality TV version of it,” says Rich, the casting director. “So we want to document the events leading up to the wedding with the bridal party, like shopping for dresses, planning bridal shower or bachelorette party. We want to capture the fun and the stress of all of this and we are looking for a great group of women who want to be part of it”

So here’s what you need to know to apply:

• They’re looking for bridal parties that are the perfect blend of fun, diverse and a little crazy.
• You and your bridesmaids must be made for TV!
• Bridal events must be coming up in May or June
• You must be based in Southern California.

Have you been glued to the latest round of The Bachelor, ABC’s hit reality show? In case you need to play catch up, grab a copy of the latest issue of Us Weekly, on stands tomorrow. Courtney Robertson takes the cover, admitting she never found Ben attractive. The magazine also reveals she has mean  nicknames for the other bachelorettes including “horsey” and “fatty”.

Ben Flajnik is now down to just three women, following the latest episode of hometown dates. Courtney, a 28-year-old model, went to new lengths coordinating a mock wedding ceremony on the February 20th episode. The other remaining bachelorettes are Lindzi Cox, 27 and Nicki Sterling, 26. Kacie Boguskie, 24 was just eliminated.

Courtney told her family that she knew she was Ben’s top choice and that her competition was slim, according to Us Weekly. Courtney has dated around, including some celebrities like former Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe, Entourage actor Adrian Grenier and Reese Witherspoon’s CAA agent husband Jim Toth.

The newest season of ABC’s The Bachelorette doesn’t premier for another three months, but ABC is already working hard to make sure you tune in. They’ve just released new photos of the next bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky.

The Newest Bachelorette

ABC released a press release saying:

The energetic and charismatic career-oriented woman from San Francisco has re-prioritized her life and now love comes out on top.

Ali, 25, has been a fan favorite from the moment she stepped out of the limo with her sexy raspy voice and a peacock feather to meet Jake Pavelka on the last season of The Bachelor. She became the front-runner for Jake’s heart, but instead they found themselves in a heartbreaking situation when she made a gut-wrenching decision to choose a job she loved over the man she loved. Ali made the surprising safe choice to go back to work, but regretted it immediately.

By the time she sorted out her work affairs, Jake had already moved on with his search for love with the three fabulous women who stayed with him, and he did not allow Ali to return.

But it’s not too late for Ali now. Admitting that she made one of the biggest mistakes of her life, she has let go of everything this time her apartment, her job, her stability to really make a life-changing commitment to put her heart first.

Women across America got a little misty eyed watching the final moments of most recent episode of the Bachelorette. A heart broken Michael made the realization that he had indeed fallen in love with Bachelorette Jillian.

We knew he had a lot going against him. First of all– his age. Jillian was five years his senior and Jillian wondered if Michael really was ready to settle down. Second of all– his profession. Although she never realliy came out and said it, I’m sure Jillian wondered what kind of money break dancing instructors make and whether they have health insurance.

But let’s get back to broken-hearted Michael. If we could, we take him out for a night of dancing to forget about his lost love. We’d be sure to bring along plenty of glow-in-the-dark bracelets from The House of Bachelorette.What made the episode even harder to swollow was how Jillian could possibly keep Wes around. Wes is obviously a lying, publicity-hungry man-slut. And is it just us, or does Jillian act differently around slimy Wes? If we have to hear that stupid twangy line again, “They say love don’t come easy…” we may just barf in our ice cream bowls.

But while we’re sad to see Michael go, we’re kind of giddy over the fact that Ed is back…

Did you catch The Bachelorette last night? Tanner P. knocked out one more foot rub before Jillian finally came to her senses and let that boy go. She said that, while it was nice of him to try to protect her from heart breaker Wes, that Tanner P.’s demise was that he was too wrapped up in the man-drama and not focused enough on her. I think Tanner P. was the only one surprised that he was getting the boot. But in honor of our foot fetish bachelor here are two special gifts we here at The House of Bachelorette would give him if we could:

The man candy pop is in honor of his mini strip tease that showed off his– um– big blessing. Although those of us at home just saw a blurred out pair of undies, according to Jillian his man candy was rather large! The other gift we would give Tanner P:

Because we all know Tanner digs the toes, we’d show them off in these lovely Just Married Flip Flops (maybe more of a gift to us than to Tanner..) and we’d be sure to paint our toenails Mango Mango so that maybe– just maybe– Tanner P. would call us a perfect 10 in the foot department.
