Blake Julian and His Bride-to-be Holly Durst Modeling a Sash From The House of Bachelorette

It’s been a pretty great couple of months for reality TV star Holly Durst. Not only did she meet her hunky new finance Blake Julian and get engaged in front of millions of people, but she also won $125,000 on the Bachelor Pad finale. The House of Bachelorette caught up with Holly last week at a benefit for Water of Life, a non-profit digging wells in Third World countries.

Of course since we knew we were going to be meeting up with one of the hottest couples in reality TV right now, we wanted to give Holly a little engagement gift. We packed one of our popular bride totes full of fun stuff including a feather boa, the Perfect Bride To Be Tiara and a white Bride Tank.  She loved her Super Bling Sash so much she even modeled it for us! These are a brand new item for The House of Bachelorette and we were excited Holly was one of the first to wear this fun accessory!

Holly and her fiance Blake Julian are now calling Greenville, South Carolina home. Blake is opening up a new dental practice this week and Holly is putting the finishing touches on her children’s book Chocolate Socks. They haven’t announced a wedding date yet but we wish them the best! And we bet Holly’s bachelorette party will be a night to remember!

Will Ali Be Pulling on a Wedding Dress in 2011?

Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky got engaged on ABC’s The Bachelorette to Roberto. And while the happy couple has been super busy with events and press ever since they say a 2011 wedding is not unlikely according to Hollyscoop. At a recent event the website asked Roberto if a wedding was in the near future and his fiancee Ali chimed in right away saying, “I would be surprised if we didn’t get married in 2011.”

Could that mean that Ali will be celebrating her upcoming nuptials with a bachelorette party in the new year? If she does, we’ll be happy to help her plan it. But we’re betting Vienna won’t be on the guest list!

Looks like Vienna Giraldi can recycle her bridal magazines. She and bachelor Jake Pavelka have split. They got engaged as millions watched the 14th season of The Bachelor on ABC. But Pavelka’s spokeswoman says the couple is done. According to Yahoo! News Janice Lee said “Jake and Vienna have split. They appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time.”

Lots of people were shocked when 32-year-old Jake the pilot chose 23-year-old marketing rep Vienna over runner-up Tenley who everyone but Jake knew was the right choice. Only four of the 13 couples that hooked up on The Bachelor are still together.

Hey Bachelorette fans– remember Jen Schefft back from the 2003 season? She got the final rose and an engagement ring from Andrew Firestone in Season 3, and then went on to become The Bachelorette in 2005. Although Jen didn’t find love on the show, she is now married and just announced she’s expecting her first child. The baby is due in November. “I was shocked. I thought it would take more time,” she told the New York Daily News. “I took three tests because I didn’t believe it was true!”

Schefft, now 33 is married to a trader, Joe Waterman. The couple lives in Chicago and have been married since May 2009. They haven’t officially found out the baby’s sex, but Jen told the New York Daily News that she feels “like it’s going to be a girl.”

The newest season of ABC’s The Bachelorette doesn’t premier for another three months, but ABC is already working hard to make sure you tune in. They’ve just released new photos of the next bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky.

ABC released a press release saying:

The energetic and charismatic career-oriented woman from San Francisco has re-prioritized her life and now love comes out on top.

Ali, 25, has been a fan favorite from the moment she stepped out of the limo with her sexy raspy voice and a peacock feather to meet Jake Pavelka on the last season of The Bachelor. She became the front-runner for Jake’s heart, but instead they found themselves in a heartbreaking situation when she made a gut-wrenching decision to choose a job she loved over the man she loved. Ali made the surprising safe choice to go back to work, but regretted it immediately.

By the time she sorted out her work affairs, Jake had already moved on with his search for love with the three fabulous women who stayed with him, and he did not allow Ali to return.

But it’s not too late for Ali now. Admitting that she made one of the biggest mistakes of her life, she has let go of everything this time her apartment, her job, her stability to really make a life-changing commitment to put her heart first.

Millions watched as The Bachelor Jake Pavelka made his decision and handed the final rose to Vienna, not Tenley. Not only did the other bachelorettes have a bad feeling about Vienna– so did most of America. Maybe it had something to do with tabloid reports that Vienna stole money from her ex to get a boob job while he was serving in the military. Maybe it had something to do with Vienna’s first appearance on this season of The Bachelor, talking about how many cars she’s totaled only to have them replaced by her daddy. Either way, Vienna is the villain of The Bachelor.

During After the Final Rose Jake explained why he let Tenley, the cheery-as-a-Disney-character runner-up, walk away despite repeatedly confessing his love for her. For Jake, it came down to animal magnetism. He felt a fire with Vienna that just wasn’t there with Tenley. So that begs the question… is red hot passion enough to keep Vienna and Jake together? I guess it’s true what they say; the man with the most chest hair wins. I’ve always had a thing for Ed’s nerdiness, his tank tops, and those super short swim trunks. And I guess Jillian Harris did too because that’s who she ended up with during the finale of The Bachelorette. Kiptyn Locke invited her to move to San Diego. Reid Rosenthal came back, shirt untucked, rushing out of a mini van taxi, trying to win her back. But neither man had the qualities Ed possesses.

This was a huge upset according to The House of Bachelorette poll asking you who Jillian should pick in the finale. Ed had just 18.42% of the popular vote, compared to Reid’s whopping 48.68%. Kiptyn ended up with 32.89% of the votes.
